I have tried several brands of kinesiology tape over the years, and this is by far my favorite. I ordered it because of the price point – I needed a LOT of tape to cope with a recent fall. I have found this tape to be perfectly sticky – it adheres to the skin under my clothes and through multiple showers, but easily removes when I need to change the shape of the treatment.
I have had other tapes take off skin with removal, or burn my skin, leaving a print of the adhesive for days after removal. My sensitive skin has had no reaction to this tape, even after leaving it on for several days.
When I first opened the tape and saw the material was a silky nylon-type fabric, I wondered if it would be breathable or durable enough. I love that feature now. This fabric hasn’t frayed yet, unlike all the big name cotton tapes, which I usually have to trim daily as the tails wear off and unravel. It dries quickly after a shower, and my skin hasn’t complained about being stifled in any way (no rash, itching, burning).
I have tried this tape on many body parts already (It was a pretty good fall). I was shocked to see the bruising on my arm completely dissipated under the tape, while the areas between the thin “drainage tails” were still purple and yellow. The tape is supportive, too, seeming to help my mobility in the injured shoulder and lessen the ache during the day. I even taped my husband’s shoulder to neck, thinking it wouldn’t last long as the top anchor is at the edge of his hairline. It’s still there two days later. I’m impressed.
The only problem I’ve had with this tape is that I tried to do a rib wrap on the injured side, and one of the vertical support sections was anchored on the edge of one end to the soft fluffy tissue on the front of my chest (I am female). I developed a rash in that spot. I can’t really blame that on the tape, however, but on my clumsy instruction to my taping assistant on that day. That type of flesh just isn’t anchor material.
I am very pleased with this purchase over all. I have started my second roll of the three in the box, and I will have tape left over for whatever little sore spot shows up next. This tape is going to be a staple in my self-care kit from now on.

i partially dislocated my shoulder and had it misdiagnosed, so i spent a month with it popping out. after using the tape, i noticed greatly increased stability and improved the pain. adhesion to the skin is solid, but as with any type of kinesthetic tape, it takes more pressure and work to make it stick to other edges of K tape. just something to keep in mind. it’s a great product.

The product comes pre stretched something like 10%. With that said the stretch of the tape is less than I was used to. The material is similar to spandex. Seems like clothing doesn’t snag this nearly as bad as other brands. I really enjoy it. I end up removing it before it begins to fall off on its own due to beginning to itch from the adhesive. There are a number of things to like about this tape.
The adhesive holds the tape in place and comes off clean when removed.
The silky texture of the fabric allows items of clothing to slide over it without causing
bunching or dragging of clothing.
The stretch in the tape, when applied as directed, provides ample support of the area being
treated. The property of the stretch relieves joint pain in my arthritic thumb while allowing me to grip a racquet and play tennis. It helps stabilize the knee cap to minimize pain.
I love the colors, but my 4th re-order will be for the black tape because it appears to have slightly better adhesion and the fabric is a tiny bit more robust.
I’ve used other brands that are more expensive, including the original KT Tape, and I prefer this brand.

I’ve used this type of tape before for sports injuries. Since I have tibia tendonitis & can’t walk I started swimming but the tape doesn’t stay on. This tape was advertised as waterproof & so far so good. It has stayed on in the pool. I also feel it’s helping my condition. I ordered the 3 roll pack. Came in 3 rather obvious colors. I wish it came in a skin color or tan so it’s not that obvious.

This did not stay stuck as well as l would like, but did well in the 100+ degree heat l was in. I am sure part of it is a learning curve on my end, as regular KT tape needs a stretch and this one is already pre-stretched. Do read the instructions, as it does differ from regular KT tape. I like the feel of it on, smooth and clothing does not stick to it.

Discovered the miracle of KT-Tape upon doing an internet search of the pain symptoms I was experiencing 2-3 weeks ago. Had been using KT-Tape because it worked great for isolating the particular tendon, but despite how strong it went on it quickly started coming off in the shower or when any wet liquid was applied (sweat included). I even shaved my arm and wiped it down with alcohol before each application… it just wouldn’t stick. Not seeing any other good option in my local stores I went online to Amazon and quickly found this tape. I do not often write reviews for my numerous of purchases on Amazon, but I just had to with this product.
It holds. The edges have stayed adhered to the skin on my arm for 2 days now. No fraying of the edges as I use my arm to reach for things in my pocket or if I perform any activity where my arm might brush against something. No waking up in the morning to find half the tape on my arm already peeled off. It is softer feeling (like satin or silk) than KT-Tape and adheres very nicely for me at least, still performing the same preparation of my arm as I did with the KT-Tape. The only con would be that if you need to really get a good stretch on this tape it will do it BUT the sides of the tape can curl up a little bit… However, despite this the tape maintains the hold and the edges have not progressed passed the initial curl that occurred when I applied the tape initially.
I am impressed and would recommend anyone to try this tape if they are having issues with KT-Tape brand.

I did feel a warm sensation under the tape but the relief was so nice I didn’t care. Once the tape was off I noticed the blisters and man did they itch! Unfortunately I am allergic to the adhesive. I am so very disappointed since the tape is wonderful at giving relief of pain.

Tape sticks well as long as skin is clean, dry, and free from skin lotions or oils. I’d test a small area if you have a sensitivity to adhesives. I ended up with an area on my leg that itched during the night and I scratched it. In the morning, I noticed some blistering where the tape was and a small patch of skin gone. Ouch!!! Aside from that, it did provide some support and slight pain relief while walking.

But that’s likely user error and the fact that wrapping from one side of the foot underneath and around to the other is a challenge – especially with varying degrees of targeted stretch.
Happily, the tendon in need of support appears to be coming around to be less painful, so I will likely have plenty of leftover in this generous 3-pack for future use – hopefully not needed!
